Yummy411: Chanel Teint Innocence Foundation Compact

Chanel Teint Innocence Foundation Compact, $55 From Chanel "Naturally luminous makeup with spf 10 Innovative compact foundation offers luxurious glide-on application, delivering greater colour purity for a natural, even, luminous complexion."

From me- Chanel is right! A nice cream foundation. It feels cool and smooth upon application. It's fragrant, but that's okay and doesn't linger too long. Nice coverage. Sleek compact with a mirror and a velvet case-- extra posh!

Overall- This would have been a decent foundation, if I didn't have combination skin. Maybe, my blot powder would have taken care of the oilies, but at almost $60, I didn't feel like coaxing and doing too much just to make this foundation work. With quite a few shades available, I think my shade Natural 4.5 was a bit too red dark for this winter weather (more so after oxidation). Had customer service been more helpful than just nice, I probably would have walked away a bit more satisfied... a decent color match and a better foundation for my skin type (ooh seriously interested in the pro liquid foundation!). Why do I deny the term 'luminous' which I know means 'sweaty look' for me?

Check out the pics below:
Foundation used with a setting powder. Taking pics took the cake for me. What in the sweaty hell??

Have you tried this or other Chanel foundations? What's been your experience.. share! I'm a crack fiend looking for my next high (in luxury foundations LOL!)

I've tried Chanel and I just didn't like it. For some reason it cakes on my face and even worse... made me break out :(

I think the coverage in good but your right for 60 bucks it needs to control the ollies and everything else. What do you have on your eyes? They look very pretty :)

I definitely tried Chanel, two bottles of the same rang - Mat Lumiere SPF 15. I honestly thought it was just okay, compared to my MAC. It smoothed on great and didnt provide full coverage but ended up getting so greasy over the course of the day I just needed to wash my face.

This is the ONLY foundation I use. I love it. I don't wear foundation every day but when I do, this is it. I apply it with a brush FYI and not the little sponge it comes with.

I also used this foundation and it's really good. Cool in face!

I'm with Ms. SlvrLips. For $60, it should definitelý control those oilies. You still look fly though, sis!

@ amina: thanks! i hope to try the pro fluid and see if it works for me!

@ anne: omg! say it ain't so! hmmmm it costs wayyy too much to cause break outs on people.

@ slvrlips: thank you! this was when i was reintroducing myself to the spiced chocolate quad. i never went into because i was unsatisfied with this foundation! LOL i think it's nanogold on the lid, brash in the crease and spiced chocolate in the outer v. milani's green brilliance liner on the waterline and HiP's eggplant liner on the lid.

@ mayhem: oh no!!!

@ lala: lol! yeh i hear you.. the brushes are prob more expensive than anything!

@ katee: yay! i'm glad it worked for someone! what skin type do you have?

@ suzyjones: great! what skin type do you have?

@ b: thanks sis!!

@ prettybeautiful: yeh i know! but i was so excited with it to begin with.... for me sometimes i'm like hmmm? which accessory do i want more right now? shoes or flawless skin.. let's go with skin! LOL

@ makeupbyrenren: lol see that's the thing.. pro discounts are on pro cosmetics.. no one in the field raves about chanel makeup or foundation so i was really wondering if it's worth it or gonna satisfy me. yeh i need to spend the money on cosmetics for me kit, but i felt like treating myself at the time =/

Just FYI being a planner in Cosmetics for Chanel...their foundations are not for people who have darker skin tones....sorry!

@ kiya: that's why i've passed over her stuff for so long, but as you can see, the shade i had was a bit too dark. i was first introduced to it by a brown beauty, not deep dark though. chanel hasn't embraced us fully.

Instead of preferring to use other skincare products, you should go for revitol skincare products only as revitol products are considered to be the best for reducing wrinkles from your face and also for ensuring the total glow of your looks. If you are eager to remove signs of aging totally, buy revitol anti-aging cream and for the treatment of cellulite dimples, it is essential to opt for revitol cellulite solution.
