Family! What going on? How have yall been?
I was going out and I wanted to try a look that involved gray eyeshadow. I didn't care or have time to care if it matched or what have you. Doesn't matter, cuz I'm the type that will wear whatever, whenever anyway! Ha! Also, I'm loving plum and deep raspberry lippies for Fall. I'll go deep, but I need color; similar to the almost black nail colors.. nah! Barielle Total Foot Care Cream
This 4 oz. of dream is heaven to my feet! I've fallen in love with Barielle's Total Foot Care Cream. Usually, I keep a handy jar of petroleum jelly around for my tough soles at war during the summer, but I've since switched to the Barielle foot cream. My feet aren't as greasy, slipping and sliding in my sandles, nor does it look like I've been dancing in Crisco. I've even absent-mindedly forgotten to apply the cream before leaving the house! Blasphemy! A good dose of this cream kept my feet quenched with moisture. Now I don't go crazy and think that I can do that all the time, mainly a few days post pedi or if I've done the recommended over-night treatment: sock covered, creme lathered feet while I sleep ;)
This cream is a bit drugstore expensive or "drugstore pricey" as Milan Rouge has coined the term. At $19, it's an indulgence for the feet. A bit goes a long way, so the jar will last you, even if you are like me and start rubbing it on everything ashy... knees, cracks of the knuckles.. hahaha okay, okay. Enjoy!
Have you tried Barielle's Total Foot Care Cream? What are your thoughts?

Revlon ColorStay with SoftFlex
Revlon's ColorStay Makeup with SoftFlex foundation has been compared to MAC's Studio Fix fluid foundation, one of my favorite liquid foundations from MAC.. and rightfully so! I now understand why. During a BOGO, I had to see what all the hype was about as I'm always searching for a great foundation. This has been my run-to foundation recently. I now use Rich Tan or mix Golden Caramel with my BECCA tinted moisturizer in Tan. Check out Dominichulinda's super awesome post comparing shades to MAC foundation for help to pick your shade! The foundation is available in two ranges for normal/dry skin types to combination/oily skin types in 20 shades! Blendable, high pigmentation, and great coverage.
Revlon ColorStay Makeup with Softflex features:
- Lightweight
- Stays put for 16 hours
- Comfortable feel from the Patented SoftFlexColorStay™ formula
- Medium to full coverage in 20 luxurious shades
- SPF 6 protection (Golden, Caramel, Toast, Rich Ginger, Cappuccino, Mahogany, and Mocha do not contain SPF.)
While I stay generally oil-free with this foundation, a blot about mid day is needed. I sometimes blot my t-zone as soon as I'm done with my makeup and I don't need to touch up later on.
Have you tried this? What are your thoughts?

DC Beauty Tour!
Hey family!
Recently, I was able to attend a DC Beauty Tour with some other DC area bloggers to scope out and highlight some of the fab beauty and spa spots in DC. I'm excited to have been a part and to be able to show you guys some of the beauty fabulousness from around my area!
Reviews, and Nikkia/Silver Lips Beauty and Music Haven)
Ted Gibson Salon
Hela Spa
Red Door Spa at the Willard
Celadon Spa
Juara Skincare
Budokan Yoga with Mimi Rieger
While we had more than a blast, one of this biggest highlights was our amazing transportation service provided by US Sedan! This alone made me feel totally red carpet. Our driver, Yasser (pictured below), made sure our beauty tootsies were kept off of pavement... really! Every stop, despite DC's traffic, Yasser had the Beauty Hot Ride at our disposal. This was really a luxury treat, just as the stops on the beauty tour. Check out US Sedan for luxury transportation services. You will feel red carpet too!

Mascaras Ejected from the Vault
Yeh, and I still have about 6 mascaras in rotation or floating around... hmmmmm. It's taken me this many mascaras to figure out what I like or what I'm looking for in a mascara =p
The truth about mascara? They are like foundations. You have to find the right type for your lashes. You wouldn't get Studio Tech foundation just because everyone raves about it, if your skin doesn't agree with MAC foundations or you have oily skin and want light coverage... right? It's not a bad foundation, just not for you. Lol!
Tips: Combine two mascaras OR use your preferred wand from one mascara with another formula of a second mascara. Take time to fan out those lashes with a good defining mascara or clean wand. To have fab lashes takes care and attention! Most people don't take the time to coat and define lashes properly.
How many mascaras do you own right now?
