Yummy411: Makeup and Contact Lenses

Check out the article from where I obtained the photo for advice and tips on eye products for lense wearers!
Do you apply makeup before or after inserting your contact lenses?
Please indicate if your lenses are sight lenses or a cosmetic accessory.
TIA!

interesting article. I actually apply my contacts way before I put my makeup on. it's usually right after I take a shower. I wear contacts for sight.

I haven't had too many problems with my eyes being irritated or my lenses causing discomfort when using any makeup. The only time I can think of is when I accidently poke myself in the eye with the makeup brush and believe me that has happened a few times.

I always do my makeup AFTER I put on my contact lenses. Makes it so much easier than doing it before. Plus when your eyes are all made up, when you insert your contacts, the powders can stick to the lens.

Mine are for sight, so I'm afraid of what my makeup would look like if I didn't put them in beforehand, though I guarantee it would look fairly interesting.

The thing I hate though is sometimes eye makeup will flake off and get stuck in my eyes or on my lenses and I don't even realize it.

I wear contact for sight. I always put them in right after I shower then go about my routine. I'm blind as a bat so putting them in after makeup is not an option for me.
