Chanel Polish Hoopla!

(Totally not the Noir Ceramic, but the pretty shade of Wonderland nonetheless.)
Every single beauty blog that I've read lately has made mention of the Chanel polish whether Black Satin or Noir Ceramic. Every reader that has left a comment talked about how they scored the last bottle!

This is media and marketing hype people! Here it is 2 weeks or more post release and my downtown DC Macy's isn't sold out-------------

I interrupt this broadcast to announce.... I GOT THE LAST BOTTLE OF CHANEL NOIR CERAMIC!! IT'S ON HOLD FOR ME AT MY DOWNTOWN DC MACY'S!

I called back to see if it all was true. The sales person (different from earlier when I put the polish on hold) went to check to see if they had anymore Noir Ceramic. She comes back asking... "Are you Kia?" "No," I say. "No, I'm sorry. We are all out of stock."

HAAAAAAAAHAHAAAHAH LOLL!

Yeah, it definately depends on the store. Saks & Neimans are the first to sell out because their customers are on it like white rice. The Lumiere d'Artifices are also selling pretty fast.

johnica.. Lumiere d'Artifices- ok another one that i'll have to see in person to see if it's worth the hype.

juiicy.. Gotta love OPI ($8-10). Yes, this will be my most expensive polish to date ($18). I'll be sharing with my sister so it will get its use unlike my other colors.

When I first discovered the polish, I wasn't even looking for it. I was looking for a cocoa color at the time. Chanel has a new brown that was next to the noir #337, and when I picked it up the sales lady mentioned that the noir was selling like hotcakes, but I passed at first because I just wasn't interested in a black polish. However, I went back and made the purchase later after I was unable to find my cocoa. I must say the color is absolutely beautiful!
