Janelle Monae is set to release her highly anticipated album, Archandroid 5/18/2010. I just experienced TightRope (gotta check the video!)I'm constantly being force fed some dang Nikki Minaj, but I had to sift through my google reader to catch her vid on a blog... a damn shame. When she first hit the scene a while back, she wasn't beat over my head by the radio stations so I didn't take notice as I had given up finding music that would speak to my soul... well, there's Gospel music, but she's not a Gospel artist. Seven, Erykah Badu and Andre 3000's son, has a big sister we never knew about...
She's also traveling with Erykah Badu and N.E.R.D on tour!
