Makeup Artist Tools: Tall Folding Chair

Finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been eyeing this tall, fold up chair since last year sometime, looking to take strain off of my back when working on clients!  I finally went to VietNam to get it a coupe of weeks ago!

Introducing the IKEA Franklin.
A tall, folding, bar stool
Comes in two sizes: 25" ($19.99) and 29" ($25.00)
3 colors: birch, oak and white with silver legs/frame
Folds for storage space
Lightweight; great for mobility

I also got my travel lamp, but I'm not sure it's as perfect for its purpose like this stool!  Since this is from IKEA, I'm not sure how long it will last (its durability), but I'm very excited that I finally own it.

YAY! I picked up my chair from Pier 1 - its the tall director style. Which lamp did you get? I have the clamp on Ott Lite and I got that from Michaels ON SALE!

I need me a travel lamp. I checked the ikea near me and I didn't find any good ones. Which one did you end up picking up?

I have a tall chair as well, but I think I got mines from Wal-Mart. I have had it for a while and it definately helps with the back issues.

I have this chair and it works well for most clients. This chair is small in width, so it is not suitable for all. I usually leave it in the car until after I have met the bride (in order to save face in case she can't fit comfortably in the chair). I am still looking for a better chair.

I like this!! I'm hott cause I just ordered a directors chair off line for $84 but I knew I would need one soon. I had been debating whether to pay that much for a chair and this one looks perfect and it's cheaper!! I still may get it!

hey chica! this could def serve as aa back up. i'm sure your director's chair will be much more comfortable for clients! I've had ppl with longer legs to complain because for them, the seat can be short... the biggest plus is that this is light weight!
