Family, I'm so excited about this set! All of the products are great with good for you ingredients-- nothing compromised! Some of the star products are: The double ended lipgloss--great light hearted colors and texture. Park Avenue Princess bronzer is hot! The color is warm and doesn't give you an obnoxious tan tone. It's a warm glow for fair skin tones and a natural glow for darker skin tones. Can't beat that, especially in a chic little casing! Great in the makeup bag. My favorite, that seems to be everyone's favorite that made tarte famous-- the CHEEK STAIN! This product did not disappoint!! People describe some blushes as a glow from within. That is how I would describe this stain. Guess who's been creeping in my makeup bag?? The 12 year old sis. Introducing her to makeup, (oh what am I doing? LOL) she's taken a liking to the stain as well! It's pretty much fool proof and easy to apply. I love it so much! I can't wait to try out the other colors. I hear that the shade Blushing Bride is amazing on darker skin tones.

Have any of you tried this set? Looking forward to purchasing it? Let me know what you think?
*ETA: Brown Girl Gumbo tried the cheek stain in Tickled. Read her review here! Thanks BGG!

I've heard of this line but don't know much about it....I've got something to look forward to the next time I stroll aimlessly through Sephora. So I'm guessin' I need to keep my eyes out for the cheek stain, Yums? What else is a must have from Tarte?

I don't think I've used a cheek stain - ever.. but your post is mighty convincing! So fool-proof that even your 12-year-old sis can do it! I think I must try...

@ divine blackness: i'm learning about this line as well. i like that the line uses a lot of good ingredients that make you feel less apprehensive about using different things on your skin. i'm happy i tried the cheek stain though. check out makeup-junkie (in canada)'s "Joy" blog. That's where I read about the Blushing Bride cheek stain I think. i hear that the lights, camera, action (?) mascara is nice. Karen, uses that one a lot. i look forward to trying more.

@ nilla cookie: i've used a cheek gel blush before, but it was in a deep berry and i wasn't familiar on what 'blushed' cheeks should look like. i ended up making myself look like a clown. however, this color in tipsy is a bit more forgiving. i rubbed it on with the actual stick, then blended with my fingers for the desired look. it's adorable on my sister. it's not obnoxious as if she's trying to be grown, playing in makeup (think powder blush on a girl her age). she likes her makeup so much that she wants to get pics taken =). i'll get some pics of us with it on.

The cheek stain is to die for!! I wear it everyday. I even reviewed it a few months ago on BGG. I highly recommend it. It's a subtle hint of color that doesn't look too overdone. Thanks Yummy for giving us the heads up about the other Tarte products. :-)

I had a Tarte cheek stain a while back; it smelled really great at first, but the smell wore off after a while. The blush itself can be a bit sticky feeling and it attracts lint.

The bronzer (in Park Avenue Princess) on the other hand, is amazing. I wouldn't recommend it if you have extremely sensitive skin, but otherwise, it is one of Tarte's best offerings. Such pretty packaging too!

@ vanessa: i know! all of us makeup junkies are in big trouble!

@ mandypandy: you are such a trip! "sticky feeling and attracting lint." i layer my makeup; i put on the stain, then some bronzer, a little highlight... so i think it gave a light dusting to the gel, but i know what you mean. i loved the color though so i didn't mind.

@ beth: it's limited edition beth...LOL isn't that how they all get us! sephora online is pretty good with stock so if you can't get it in stores, that should be a good option.

I'm a big fan of Tarte-their lip glosses are always a winner in my books and I love getting friends who aren't big into 'makeup' into the cheek stains as a really simple way to add a bit of colour. This looks like a great deal and I think they have a few other sets coming out for Spring. I'd suggest grabbing one for little sis so she can keep her hands out of your toys ;-)

special k, i've come to love the lipgloss too.. even though the color goes too fast for me, i can still feel the goodness on my lips! any fav color of yours?
