(Swatches Blackberry bronzer l-r: blended out, single swipe)
I saw a few new items from Black Radiance in the drugstore over the weekend. This was the most unique item. Blackberry bronzer is a swirl of darkest grape or blackberry, lilac and caramel for a the deepest bronze glow I've ever seen. I tried it on me with a skunk brush (MAC #187) and it appeared like smoke, sheer black with a sheen to it. I can't wait to use it on the right skin tone!
Have you seen this or tried it?

Whoa! That's an interesting one. I think it would be even too dark for me but it's so pretty I'd wear it as a shadow.
OMG--love the look of it! my walmart was putting up a new display of black radiance late last week, must go back to see if this was included. will be interesting to see how you use it...blessings!

@ janel: the stores have been so slow about stocking the new stuff. i see boxes around the store and i want to dig in!
@ boho vanity: yes i was trying to use it as a bronzer/contour powder, but it looked like i had been playing in a chimney lol!

@yummy411: yeah, they are really slow here! went to several places yesterday that carry black radiance products and it's not out yet! but i saw plenty of boxes and like you i wanted to dig in LOL. i did look (BRIEFLY) into a stock tub but i was too "scarred" to really pick through!

Hi! I just want to comment about this bronzer since I got it yesterday, tried it, and am thrilled about it. (To note, I am of Korean descent but was raised in the South, so I am a little more tan than traditional Koreans. I am light-light medium/neutral, these days, since I try to avoid UV damage. That said..) This the "bronzer" I have been looking for as a contour. I have prominent cheekbones, which I try to reduce near my eyes, and have a square jawline, which I try to round at the ends. This is wonderful for me, but I use it sparingly with a light hand and fluffy brush. It is smoky/"dirty" at first, but it blends nicely, giving me a good shadow, without the added tan/bronze look of traditional bronzers or a-shade-deeper powders. However, the slight bronze in this bronzer is perfect for adding a warmth to the smoke. (Previously, I had been looking for a bronze, earthy purple,violet shade that could work as a dual cheekbone reducer and blush but had been out of luck, e.g., Milani's Fantastico Mauve baked blush was just bright, not at all dark. Now, I am set with this bronzer! I almost overlooked this at CVS since it is so small, in the already smaller BR display. I intend to go back to stock up, despite this being newer. I wish it came in a larger size too, but a little of this will go a long way for me.)
Purchased this a few days ago - it is a phenomenal contour! I'm NW 45 and this stuff is a contour with a glow - many compliments today!!
Bought it and tried it on my face, unfortunately, being as I'm of the caramel variety it looked like a kind if black blush...ummm...no. But then I tried it on my EYES! If you can't do carry it as a bronzer it'd definitely workable as a shadow
