A Brown Girl's BFF- MAC's Sweet as Cocoa Blush

MAC describes Sweet As Cocoa (a sheertone shimmer blush) as brown with pearl

Sweet As Cocoa is the perfect bronzed brown with a delicate shimmer that's a goldy pink. Not a pink with a rosy tint (like our other friend Format blush) but gives everyone a blushed glow. Every brown girl with this blush on, I always seem to compliment with the same idea in mind... 'She must be wearing Sweet As Cocoa.' I'm usually right. It's a brown girl's BFF!

Do you have this? Is it one of your BFF's (brown girl or not!)?

I've got a couple blushes on my to-get list...my usual pinks and peaches...but I'll have to check this one out for something new. What do you think of Mocha?

I have this, but don't reach for it THAT much, although it's nice. I have 58 blushes to choose from, that's my excuse! It looks very similar to MAC X-Rocks (LE) too.

This sounds a lot like 95% of the bronzers I have and use every day as blush:) Love the color.

@ mocha mish mash: yes do try this one out! moocha is nice. it's another sheertone blush so a soft neutral blushing shade. it's a pink though. i got it because blogger/youtuber aziajs wears it alot and i thought i should have it, lol. i'll try to show it to you in another post. i think you'll like it though.

@ bianca: i love superduper natural as well! i did a post on that too! ;)

@ vex in the city: this blush is an old faithful. one that you can always count on for a nice blush 'n glow. you know, i think x rocks might be rosier. what say you? i don't have it, but i passed on it because i do have fab blush from the barbie collection which xrocks reminds me of as well...?

@ bombchell: lol! i think you'll love the glow!

@ the home spa goddess: hey chica! happy new year! how have you been? oddly enough, i don't know any dupes of this. any suggestions? i'm sure you can layer some stuff...

@ amina: omg yes! i just told another friend about ambering rose along with this! magnificent!

This really looks incredible. You use bronzer all year long? It seems like a summer thing to me. I might have to try it out.

I don't use this because its too dark for me, obviously lol. I do use MAC's Well Dressed blush really often. Its a soft pink, sometimes peachy if I use a bronzer underneath.

@ mocha mish mash: np!

@ mz. more: yes you should!

@ milan: me too!

@ kim: it can be bronzey, but this is perfect for a 'glow' all year long. check it out if you get a chance!

@ 1xellus1: omg, it is??? that's great to know. thanks!!

@ amanda allison: i've never tried well dressed because i didn't think it was for my skintone. i should check it out just to see. i used format blush on someone that was lighter than me nc30 maybe?(light application) so gorg!
