Maybe this mirror is simply supposed to be used for decoration, but I use it for my makeup. Yes, I have one of the lit up mirrors (I need a huge one now!), but I like this mirror for a broader view of what I'm doing. The mirror reflects a big enough image that I can see what I'm doing, with better perspective. One of my best Ikea purchases.
(In true Ikea form, the base is a bit wobbly, but I don't move it that much to worry.)

I just got the new vanity that they have...but like you said its a little wobbly and the drawer keeps falling apart :-(

very good size for a mirror! mine's from ikea too. The little round one that has a magnifying mirror on the other side. and I totally agree about the wobbly base!
