Yummy411: Exceptionnel de Chanel Intense Volume and Curl Mascara

Exceptionnel de Chanel Volume and Curl Mascara ($28). From Chanel: "Captivating volume and audacious curves give lashes the fullest advantage - with clump-free, smudge-proof separation. Innovative six-sided brush ensures dramatic results."

Pros: Great color, decent volume and separation, formula has good consistency, lifts those lashes!

Cons: Not the volume I expected, price point.

I've tried mascaras with this type of wand before, however the formula is better than most with this type of brush. With this formula and the six sided brush, lashes are coated and defined well. This mascara is better at lengthening than volumizing, but one to two coats definitely lifted my lashes. Didn't quite curl them, but I'm pretty sure if you curl your lashes before hand, this would keep a good hold. Lashes aren't crunchy or spidery after a few applications. These days lifting of lashes are key for me! The price point is a bit steep for this mascara, but it's Chanel... live and endulge ;)

Have you tried this mascara? What do you think? Do you have a better Chanel mascara to recommend?

I bet the high end brands really do have something different with the way they do their product that's why it works and expensive :) I haven't tried any Chanel mascara :) So thanks for this

I haven't heard of this, but I am open to try it. I am always on the look for a good mascara. I wish the ones that work the best for me werent so expensive. I used Fresh Supernova mascara.

I loved this mascara too! But the price point is what's preventing me from purchase.

Is it wrong of me to want a WHOLE lot more than super lashes for a $28 mascara? Like a massage or a new pair of boots? I'm just saying... LOL!

I've been dying to try this mascara but don't have the heart to spend that much when I have a ton of other mascaras sitting in my makeup bag...

The brush sounds interesting though!
