Yummy411: Bond No. 9 Andy Warhol Lexington Avenue

In honor of Andy Warhol's 80th birthday (August 6, 1928) and Warhol's time on Lexington Avenue as a shoe designer, Laurice Rahmé, Bond No. 9's president proudly introduces the 3rd fragrance in the Bond No. 9's Warhol series: Andy Warhol Lexington Avenue. The colorful and whimsically designed shoes are reflective of pre-Pop, 1950s New York fashion. The Lexington Avenue fragrance with the bottle design bring together two of the most ultra-feminine accessories a woman can own: fragrance and shoes.

The fragrance is described as a floral, woody chypre (chypre meaning citrus topnotes and forest, woodsy base). It has contemporary gourmand notes- peony, orris, patchouli, sandalwood amongst many, making this a warm scent for Autumn and Fall.

Andy Warhol Lexington Avenue is available in two sizes: 100ml and 50ml at Bond No. 9's four New York City boutiques, www.bondno9.com and at Saks Fifth Avenue nationwide.

For the holiday season, limited-edition flacons will feature Robert Lee Morris sterling silver shoe pendants of Warhol's shoe designs-four of them- on a sterling silver chain. Retail price: $575. Available now!

'Bong No. 9'? Does it really smell that bad? Granted, knowing Andy Warhol, he probably did smell a little like bong-water and vintage women's shoes.
