Yummy411:Pink Bronze and Purple FOTD

Hello All!! It's Toni, Kia's sister, stepping in for this post. She needed a little break, so I told her I would post an FOTD for her.

I went to a cookout for my High School (Duke Ellington School of the Arts) over the weekend and decided to do a fun summer look. Now that I look at the pictures, I feel like I was a cheerleader for the Miami Heat..LOL! The pink bronze looks pretty orange in the pics. Anyhoo....I had fun playing in make up. I don't do it as much these days with two little ones that don't allow me to do anything that takes longer than three minutes. Therefore, showers are now the highlight of my day, or shall I say night. Soooo, here's how it turned out :-)

P.S. - Sorry I didn't do a step by step tutorial of how I achieved the look. I didn't have time as I explained above. I was racing against the clock.

**Now you can click to see closeups**

Here's what I used:

EYES

pink bronze pigment on the lid

up at dawn e/s from MAC's Pandamonium quad

violet trance from the same quad in the outer v

viz a violet e/s in the inner corners

clarins violet on inner water line

clarins' noir liner on outer water line

maybelline liquid eyeliner on upper lash line

cover girl CG Smoothers in midnight brown in brows

FACE

HiP flawless liquid makeup in tawny 816 and NC44 Studio Fix Fluid

Cover Girl Queen Collection Natural Hue Minerals Bronzer in Q110 as a setting powder

MAC Ambering Rose on cheeks

Golden Bronze iridescent loose powder in T Zone and on cheeks

Alyssa- Thanks hunni!! It really is great sharing the love of make up with my sister. She used to clown me for doing my make up just to go to the store. Lol!...But look at her now. That was my free advertisment back then and still is :-)

Thanks Muthasfynest!! You all have made the effort of doing this post worthwhile. I had to boot my son out of the bathroom about 10 times. Lol!!

ant, (my typing nickname for her- antoinette..toni..darbygirl) thank you so much for doing this post for me! i love featuring you guys. i know it takes a lot for you to get much done these days other than gloss and mascara, so to put on non neutrals, cam whore and post is a lot! thanks babe! love ya!

pbw, that's what i've learned to appreciate about her makeup style. she gives her eyes drama all without being intimidating or over the top... just enough to have fun, but keeping it wearable and pretty (not just artwork on the face lol)
