Oh Sunday, I went to a Bilal concert... his music is pure sex! I won't ever be caught at his concert without a date again. My eyeliner stood up to a couple of tears.. I heart Bilal!!! One of my fave songs by him is on myflashfetish player if you're interested (in the upper right corner). Oddly enough, I was standing with half of the MAC counter staff from Pentagon who came to the concert after work!
Yes! Ledisi came out as a special guest. She is the truth and the light yall! I don't know why I've been sleeping.. (not on her beautiful locs though! LOL)

yeh, i actually think she looks cute in her little makeup LOL.. what does she know about liner and stuff?! ha! i just want her to keep it age appropriate and not go too far with other makeup with her being an adolescent. so many teens think the cure to pimples, etc. is foundation and more junk on top of skin probs... i do not want her going that far!
hey lurve! she already told me that antoinette (our older sis) told her to put the "eyeshadow up some" (translation: a bit into/abover her crease)"to open up my eyes more".. this is too much for me LOL!
You two are so cute...pretty makeup as well! Also I have a question...In the summer time I wear eyeliner but it tends to smudge off or run b/c how hot it is it... what is the best way to prevent that?

@ memphiz: hi chica! thank you!! to prevent unwanted smudging, you should op for waterproof liners. for extra smudge proof protection, go over the liner with a shadow of the same color (or a diff color to be funky!). it will set the liner. use whatever's convenient for you, angle brush, etc. hope that helps!

@ lakia: aww i'm going to have to post the shows and events i'm interested in attending to see who out there wants to come... besides the 9:30club is going for 1 hr shows (though bilal went on for a while) which is good for mamas and ledisi was there for about 5 mins .. but long enough to make me a believer!
