Every thing is turning up 'L'eau'
L'eau is water in French? Please correct my ignorance if i'm wrong. Some of my favorite fragrances are going 'L'eau'. I haven't smelled them yet, but they all claim to be the lighter, sheerer, more fresh version of the original.

I sampled the Miss Dior Cherie, it is a bit lighter. It is funny people see french and think OHLALA.... I speak a bit of french so I see it as... thanks for letting us know you watered down some parfume but used french to make it fancy :)

Yes, so... it is lighter than say "Eau de toilette"? "Eau" is water and "L'eau" is "the water". 3 years French... this and bonjour and merci are all I can remember ;-p
I had no idea that most perfumes were turning into l'eau..even miss dior cherie..

I haven't tried any yet but I think this is a great idea. Some scents may be too strong to wear to certain places (work) or certain times of the year (summer). If the scents are a bit lighter, I would bring them out at times I normally wouldn't.

i actually like strong perfumes, well almost masculine smells, or scents lol.
Ill check out Leau next time, and see what it smells like.
This is the first time I checked out your blog and I love it!!! I tried D & G 'the one' and it's a light scent but long lasting. (I hit up Sephora for a few samples before dropping the $70 on the bottle).
