Good Saturday to You!

Today, I woke up early for prepare for a makeup trial for a photo shoot. Everything went well! My client (aka friend) was happy with the trial and we look forward to working together for her photo shoot. I hope to have pictures soon.

My goal has been to create the perfect canvas, recreating the the modern classic natural look of Essence mag models or even reproducing the look and style of CoverGirl Queen collection models. How fabulous do they look?
(Want to get these looks without breaking the bank? Find out here! Go to LOOKBOOK.)

After applying lashes on the client and seeing how fab she looked, I think I'm getting bored with the natural; makeup and lashes. I'm such a mascara fiend, but I'm coming to a point where I feel like my thin lashes with mascara are just not enough for my taste. I DO NOT want to be faux-lash dependent!!! I thought mastering the lash strip would be sufficient, but I think my choice of lashes would be the individual clusters- to add volume where I like.

The other day, I was overdue for a nail appointment. As much as I like acrylic to keep up my polish, I'm quickly getting tired of my overlay. I got rid of the hair, should I get rid of the nails too? Besides being on the fence about natural nails or overlay, I didn't have a fab polish to try and make me feel excited about getting them done. Usually when I feel this way, I head over to All Lacquered Up for some ideas. Lo and behold, never to disappoint, Michelle saves my day!

Feeling a wee bit inspired to try lashes, to do something not so natural (but still subtle) and wanting to show you all my L.A.M.B nails, here are a few pics!

OMG, those nails! I love it! They look so chic and clean. I have to try this myself. Do you know what white she used? I hate that so many of them look chalky or dull but that one looks fab. I might try it with a sparkly black tip. :D

Cincyfan: Thanks.. all to you! I'm sorry, but I don't know what white she used. It may look 'not so chalky' in the pictures, but in real life i think it's more chalkier than i'd like.

be sure to take pics if you do this mani. i'd love to see it!
