When ninjas (usually my sisters)borrow my polish and disrespect it as pictured above... let the polish crust up around the neck, polish dripping down the bottle and the writing/labeling is scratched off! Oh, don't forget loaning it off to someone else w/o my knowledge (yes, even if it is the next sister-- they all don't respect my polish the same)!
Each color is carefully selected and a proud notch on my polish collector license! Respect my polish, borrowers!

ReplyDeleteanother is...someone using my polish b4 i've had the oppty to try it. it is common for me to haul a few bottles at a time, especially if there is a bogo or something. give a sista a chance to "christen" the bottle b/4 you dive in. naw mean? LOL seems to me, w/ all the 100s of colors we have in the collex, they gravitate towards the newest shades. SMH
um...how exactly does THAT happen? im lucky to have no one borrow my polishes. my sister isnt big on polish and my niece has her own. my friends dont paint their own nails. some dont even get their fingers painted, just their toes. if someone gave my polish back to me like that, i'd probably HAVE to slap them.

ReplyDeleteAnywho, getting back on topic. I hate when ppl see my nail polish collection, tell me how I'm wasting my money on "all that polish" and then ask if they can borrow a couple bottles...ummm, NO!! Get your own!!
Aw that really sucks! Nail polish isn't cheap so I'd be so angry!

ReplyDeleteI'd seriously harm someone if they gave me my polish back looking like that. And then I'd demand they replace it. Luckily, the only person I ever lend polish to is my mother, who respects products as much as I do.
ReplyDeleteOne thing that does irk me, though, is when someone just closes my polish loosely, allowing it to gunk up. Argggghhhh!
My polish peeves are pretty much the same as yours! disrepectful users namely siblings as 'friends' should not treat our prized possessions like this! LOL x x x
ReplyDeleteHere is my trick. I keep my nail polishes in the refrigerator. This keeps them easier to use AND since they are tucked inbetween the my spices very difficult to find by those that do not respect the power of a clean nail polish bottle!!!

ReplyDeleteI'm not a huge polish user, but I think it's fair to say that it's universally annoying to allow someone to borrow something and it comes back beat up.

Haha I'm the same with my polish, they are all arranged by brand and color. I even give them a once over every couple of months and clean off the necks. Luckily, my sisters are pretty good at asking before they borrow anything. We had so many major blowups when we were kids, though!
