My sister, Jess, celebrated her bday last weekend with her best friend. While it was a celebration for them, it was an all out bash for all the Pisces we knew. My older sister, Toni is a Pisces, as well as a few of my cousins. Go Pisces!
For this occasion, I wanted to use my highly coveted Lavender Whip lipstick and I finally broke out my 88 palette. I got back when the rave over the Coastal Scents 88 palette went into over drive. I caught it on the second wave. It has sat and collected dust, until now. Thanks to Yannize for pushing it on me!
I used four colors from the palette: a pink on the first half of the lid, the sky blue on the second half, a light color for the highlight and a dark blue (similar to MAC's Plumage) in the outer v and blended into the crease. Lavender Whip looks amazing (to me at least) in these pics, but it was much milder and not as opaque in real life.

EYES (Continued)- UDPP, HiP paint in Lofty, Blue Pop liner on waterline(Blue Pop/Black Funk duo liner, Heatherette Collection), Maybelline waterproof liquid liner black on top lid, pink e/s on inner lower lid and blue e/s on outer bottom lid, DermaBlend concealer in Tan, Bobbi Brown yellow setting powder, Red Cherry lashes
FACE- DermaBlend Cover Creme SPF 30 foundation in Chroma 3 Honey Beige, white translucent DermaBlend setting powder
CHEEKS- Flirt & Tease (my new default blush taking the place of Harmony blush)
LIPS- Lavender Whip cremesheen lipstick
And China Glaze's Spontaneous on the nails and toes!

ReplyDeleteThis is definitely a hot girls go out look! I was persuaded by a Mac MA not to try Lavender Whip (I'm a NC44/45), but I'm tempted now to try it because you rock it soo well. I have a 4 Coastal Scents palettes that are collecting dust. Your review of them is very accurate. Some colors are great, some are chalky, some don't have any color payoff...that's why I stopped using my palette, but you've inspired me to pull out my palettes again and play around until I find some combinations that work for me. :)
