I did happen to see the show, and it wasn't what I expected. It's a show on fashion that brings in one celebrity for three wanna be designers to make a dress or outfit for the celebrity to wear on the red carpet. They have three phases to pass, and someone is voted off in each phase. The first phase is sketching the dress, then shopping for fabric, and finally making the dress. The concept sounds great, but the delivery of the program just wasn't up to par in my opinion. I hate to say that because I like Keisha Whitaker....but..what can I say?
Maybe I'll have to look at another episode or two before I make my final decision. I'm trying to give it a chance.
@ Jamie - Yes, that sure is Forrest Whitaker's beautiful wife, and co-founder of the Kissable Couture makeup/lipgloss line.
I meant to watch it and then totally forgot it was on.
@ darbygirl - I didn't realize that was the concept. I thought each person would have a chance to live out their design dream. I didn't think it was a competition type show.
@SuzieC- Dag, now that you say that, I'm feeling like I missed something. I hate to harp on this, but of course I didn't get to sit in front of the TV uninterrupted (The kids!!) Lol! So, I may have to watch again. I'm sure it will come on 50 more times this week.

ReplyDeleteAlthough she is very beautiful - It is a big mistake to follow traits of another. Wear what ideally suits you
