Okay, so I think I'll have to give the MUFE Flash Colors a second chance. Especially since I want the silver color, a great dupe for the Metal X Virgin Silver I passed up for its weird consistancy.
Here's the link to a cool video. I had it up, but it only allows auto play.. and i don't like that.
(G) did you get yours yet? Where's the review?

yup! i got mine. but i didn't get the silver 'cuz i have all the Metal-X colors. i agree with the Metal-X consistency, but have you tried using Enkore's suggestion of using the "doe foot" craft brush to apply? i swear it makes Metal-X application a thousand times easier.
ReplyDeletei only got the MUFE primary colors: carmine, blue, yellow, orange, green. i've only used the blue one, and i reeally liked it. the consistency is nothing like Metal X, more like paint pots, maybe even creamier. i'll try and do a swatch post tonight. :0)
doh -- and i will also let you know if i have an obnoxious blue stain leftover on my eyes...!!!
ReplyDeletehey (g), thanks! no i haven't seen that suggestion by enkore... i swear i can't keep up with his vids..does he post daily!? man, i wish i would have known. now i'll track down that virgin silver.. cheaper than MUFE (well minus any shipping). that was the first thing i noticed about those flash colors that they were as slick as paint! do tell if they stain.. i'm uber curious!
ReplyDeletegirl, i just posted your MUF Flash Colors review. :0)
ReplyDeletei loooove Virgin Silver; it's so much easier to apply with the doe foot brush.
I tried one of these creams in a light blue and the color was sooooo pretty but it creased :( The SA at Sephora said if I use less it won't, but then I don't get color payoff so its like, ah whats the point then?!
ReplyDeleteI got one of their star powders, the ultra hot pink one - that stuff is AMAZING!
@ (g: thanks for everything! very helpful!
ReplyDelete@ brittney-lynn: ugh.. wow.. @ the flash colors. thanks for the info. i'll look into the star powders!!
What fun colors and fun video! I'm gonna watch this all day long!
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
