Leopard Face for Avartsy!
Back when I did this Exotic Shoot with a feline theme, my original idea (the look in the above pic) didn't make the cut. I was debating whether or not to show you guys this as it would have been better presented, done over a bit more neatly with full face makeup, a real camera and not the cell phone pic, etc. Ehh well, you guys get to see the rough draft. This is for you Avartsy! It's waaayyy beyond Easter, hahaha! ;) Love ya girl!
Sent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry®Milani Lip Flash Pencil Review and Swatches
The other day, I got a drugstore pic of the Milani Lip Flash display. Here's my review of the two Lip Flash pencils I picked up- In a Flash (hot purple/pink/ magenta) and News Flash (deep red/burgundy). I know pics are better when the product is untouched, but I'm a makeup junkie! I'm in the car swatching and testing as I leave the CVS! More on the condition of these two pencils in just a sec.
So as you can see, News Flash didn't hold up too well. I have no idea what went wrong or why this color is so mushy...lots of pigment perhaps? Hehe. Both pencils were kept in the same conditions.... While In a Flash can be applied directly, a lip brush was needed for News Flash. The mushy consistency didn't effect the color and coverage. Also, News Flash appears to be a bit more opaque in coverage than In a Flash (the pink---if you got confused with the 'Flashes').
[Click to enlarge images!] In a Flash (pink) flashes blue in the light. News Flash has a few subtle, sparkly pigments.
The Stats:
-great coverage, decent wear time, and doesn't stain!
If it does leave any staining, it does ever so lightly where there's little to no altering of natural lip color.
I look forward to wearing these in the very near future. I picked up the dark, News Flash pencil for a summer vamp lip. A deep lip, but not the black or almost black goth trend. Something to pair with light, summer colors- yellow, peach, coral or bright fuchsia!
I'll be doing an FOTD soon!

Drugstore Paparazzi 7/20/2010: New Milani
I haven't done one of these posts in a minute, huh? Nouveau Cheap, one of my favorite newer blogs keeps you up to date on all things bargain beauty. I don't keep up on every release in the drugstore, but I love to show you what piques my interest!
Ooooh! Ahhh! I'm really excited about these new Lip Flash pencils! I got two of them: News Flash and I believe, In a Flash. I gave them a quick run and they made me squeal. They deserve their own separate post!
More baked bronzers from Milani? Or revamped baked bronzers? I saw these Milani Baked Bronzers a while back. However, here is the stand for the new product, ummm minus the actual product. *Sigh* I guess we can't have it all, huh? Actually, I had one of the three bronzers in my basket (forgot to take a picture, hehe), got to the register and couldn't swallow the $10 price tag for yet another shimmery bronzer. Wait for BOGO? More than likely. These are more refined than the foil-tastic baked bronzers they had before. The packaging isn't as chunky and they look appealing. You will definitely get glitter shimmers, but I'm willing to try them at a better bargain price! I hear the mosaic bronzers/blush colors are the bomb!Best Drugstore Finds and more!

I Spy Inglot and Kirkland Makeup Brushes!
She (Teen Yummy411) tried to slyly do her makeup on the go, but believe I took notice out of the corner of my eye! Then I snapped a picture when she realize she was caught!
Caught red-handed with my Inglot palette! How dare she, but at least someone's getting use out of it. I've never told you guys this, but... I'm not particularly impressed with their shadows *shameful face*. At least she's using the cute little Kirkland travel set of brushes that I gave her that came with my full size brush set! What a deal that was!
Ehh, the joy of sisters.

Some girls are attached to their wiggie poos, hair pieces or favorite hair extensions. Well, I'm the same way with my lashes. I like to try a variety, but there are a few pair that I LOVE. My long time Bff's and I have been taking a break for a little bit. I've found some new girlfriends in the mean time--- Ardell Lacies! A thin, but long fan of flirt and flare! Saucy! Similar or dupes of MAC #34's. The Lacies are a tad longer and winged. I went for a minimal look this particular night, but these babies took it to another level! Me likey.... drama, but not melodrama. What are your favorite false lashes?

Sally Hansen HD Polish in DVD- Good Polish Done Wrong
Above is my attempt to do a quick polish at work. I guess I got the game mixed up with Sally Hansen's HD and Sally Hansen's Insta Dry Nail Polish. Despite this three coat, horrid application, I got many compliments back when I wore it (the flash in sunlight is incredible!), I just made sure people didn't view it too close (Umm yes, I didn't bother to remove the application until I got my nails professionally done. Sue me!)
While my nails looked totally disgusting, check out these fab links of the polish justified!
